All day on Sunday, October 14, the southbound 710 connector to westbound Ocean Blvd. and the Gerald Desmond Bridge will be closed for pavement repairs overseen by the Port of Long Beach.
From 4AM to 5PM Sunday, the Port will be closing the connector and rerouting motorists to the Pico offramp and then back onto the Gerald Desmond Bridge ramp. The bridge itself will remain open and can be accessed either via Pico Ave. or from East Ocean Blvd.
The same connector will be closed again on Sunday, October 21 from 7AM to 1PM for restriping of the roadway.
