A silver alert has been issued by the California Highway Patrol on behalf of the sheriff’s department for a 69-year-old man suffering from Alzheimer’s who went missing in Bellflower.

Ricardo Anderson was last about noon Friday, in the 9500 block of Oak Street in Bellflower, according to the CHP and the sheriff’s department.

Anderson is 5-foot-10 and about 150 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes.

Anderson may be disoriented because he’s suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia, the sheriff’s department reported.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans and appeared to be on foot.

This silver alert has been extended to run in both Los Angeles and Orange counties.
