From LBPOSTSports.com:  On Saturday night, 2nd Street will once again host the Belmont Shore Christmas Parade.  The 26th annual celebration will be celebrating much of the same.  The Holiday season.  The 10th Anniversary of the Aquarium of the Pacific.  The fact that it almost feels like winter down near Belmont Shore.

But this year, on top of a big red fire truck, the city of Long Beach will be celebrating their native sons and daughters who glorified our fair city, and this great nation.  The Olympians are coming.

Thanks to the Long Beach Sports Council, the Aquatics Capital of America Committee, and Legends Bar & Grill, about a dozen Long Beach Olympians will be sitting on top of a Long Beach Fire Dept. fire truck to ride down 2nd Street in the Parade.

Among those sure to attend are former Olympians and Century Club members Susie Atwood, John and Joan Van Blom, and water Polo player Adam Wright will be showing off his 2008 silver medal.
