At about 1:30AM Monday, a tractor-trailor collided with an unidentified vehicle resulting in an accident that critically injured one person and closed down two lanes of the northbound 405 for an hour, the California Highway Patrol reported early this morning. A body was ejected from the vehicle when the car flipped over, said Officer Monica Posada.

The number three and four lanes just south of Alameda St. exit were reopened at 2:30AM after Los Angeles County sheriff’s department helicopter airlifted the victim to Long Beach Memorial Hospital for treatment.

No further information was immediately available.
