From LBPOSTSports.com: Now in his ninth season as the Wilson Bruins’ varsity baseball coach, Andy Hall has never had a team start the Moore League season 0-2, let alone 0-3.  Thanks to senior pitcher J.T. Mazalewski and junior shortstop Cody Harris, Hall doesn’t have to worry about the latter this season as the Bruins defeated the Jordan Panthers, 6-2, during the second game in a Moore League doubleheader at Blair Field Wednesday night.

Heading into the game against Jordan, the Bruins had only scored two runs in league play thus far, and both were unearned.  With their bats struggling and facing the Panthers ace, Marcos Lara, Wilson was going to need a strong performance from Mazalewski on the mound in order to have a chance to win, and they got just that.
