Police say they’ve arrested a burglary suspect who broke into a home in Los Cerritos on Tuesday evening and stole several firearms, prompting a SWAT team to be dispatched.
Joshua Jackson, a 31-year-old Long Beach resident, was taken into custody around 6:19 p.m. in the 3600 block of Pacific Avenue on suspicion of burglary and grand theft, according to the Long Beach Police Department. His bail was set at $50,000, they added.
Jackson, according to authorities, was identified as the suspect after matching the description given by the person who called police.
LBPD also activated its SWAT team to search and and clear the residence Jackson had broken into, police said, adding that all the stolen weapons were recovered by officers.
