Cindy Allen was named a new partner in the Long Beach Post Company at a six-year celebration of the media organization last Friday.
“All businesses go through phases, and I am excited to be part of the next phase of the Long Beach Post,” Allen said. “It is rare in business to find such a great team and I am looking forward to working with the staff and the community to tell the Long Beach story. I am honored to join the Long Beach Post family.”
Allen is the President of ETA Advertising, a multi-million dollar full service agency based in Long Beach. Established in 2005, ETA has been instrumental in building the brands of some of Long Beach’s most prestigious businesses, institutions, and city attractions. ETA has also worked with hundreds of small businesses throughout the city. In addition, ETA’s client base has included national and regional brands including DR Horton, Signal Hill Petroleum, Anaheim Ducks, Farmers & Merchants Bank, and UPS.
Allen’s commitment to Long Beach is strong; she holds a masters degree in Public Administration from Cal State Long Beach, attended Long Beach City College, Long Beach Poly High School, and Stevens Middle School. She also served on the Long Beach Police Department for 11 years and was a Meritorious Award-winning police officer.
Allen has served on the boards of the Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Long Beach Associates, American Red Cross, Memorial Hospital, Women’s Business Council, and the Long Beach Police Foundation. She lives with her husband, Long Beach Police Commander Randy Allen, their 18 year old son David, and their 16 year old daughter Erin.
