Long Beach residents Bryan and Nicole Hidalgo recently opened Creative Surfaces, a 3,000 square foot boutique tile showroom, in Naples. Nicole is a hard surface design specialist, inspired as a child by her mother, an interior designer. Bryan, in the tile and stone industry for over 30 years on the manufacturing side, brings to the table his experience in the industry and his attention to detail.
The couple have worked together for many years manufacturing exquisite stone products for distribution. Their first venture together was a studio located in Anaheim, which they closed to move closer to home, giving them the opportunity to work with local Long Beach residents. Creative Surfaces is a showroom filled with color, character, creative ideas and tile and stone from around the world.
“Our goal is to provide Long Beach with more options to create an appealing and unique space for their home.” Nicole explained at the Taste of Naples Fest. “We have something for every style and budget- from $2-$200 per square foot.”
Creative Surfaces carries many elements – wood, glass tile, natural stone, mosaics, pavers, handcrafted ceramics, and countertops. “Many people feel if they head down to Tile Mile they can save a few bucks. In reality it’s not always more cost effective and can become more confusing to the consumer. People will not experience the design service, special attention to their unique needs, or the specialty items we provide at Creative Surfaces” Bryan added.
