Hof’s Hut owner Craig Hofman plans to open a new upscale restaurant that will replace the former Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ in Belmont Shore, a company spokesperson said Tuesday.
The new restaurant, slated to be named Saint & Second, is shooting for a June opening at the former Lucille’s location at 4828 East Second Street, said Barbara Caruso, a spokeswoman Hofman Hospitality Group, the company that owns Hof’s Hut, Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ and SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza.
Former 555 Executive Chef Shelly Bojorquez will oversee the New American-style menu, which Hofman said will be organic and farm-to-table, with items ranging from burgers to flatbreads as well as some more upscale items.
The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner, as well as weekend brunches, Caruso said.
