6:15pm | The Women’s Council of Realtors Vine To Wine event on July 14 drew hundreds of people from the Long Beach real estate community.
The second annual WRC event at the Betty Reckas Greek Cultural Center featured wine tasting, a buffet dinner, networking, a live jazz band and drawings.
Interval House will receive a portion of the funds raised by the drawing, wine and table sponsorships. Interval House provides information and resources for battered women and their families, including crisis shelters.
The Long Beach WCR is the largest in California. The organization helps its members in elevating their profession with education, industry knowledge and networking opportunities, according to the group. Steve Nottingham is this year’s WCR president, Angie Simpson is president-elect, Jeff Boy is treasurer, Andrea Bigler is vice-president of membership and Sally Doherty is secretary.
