2:20pm | The Board of Directors of Food Finders, Inc. has announced that Patti Larson has been selected as the new Executive Director of the organization. Larson was appointed Interim Director in June 2011 following the retirement of Arlene Mercer, Founder of Food Finders.
Previously, Larson served as the head of Marketing and Public Relations for Food Finders where she was responsible for updating the nonprofit’s website, introducing social media to market the organization and playing a vital role in event fundraising. Her background includes more than 15 years of Business Marketing and E-commerce.
2010 and 2011 Board President Ed Fagan and 2012 Board President Gary Burkard commented, “The Executive Search Committee felt that Larson provided both knowledge of the organization and a fresh leadership prospective that will be vital to the organization as it embarks on a renewed effort to meet the needs of the hungry in Long Beach and the surrounding areas.”
