Planet Fitness will celebrate the opening of a new “Judgement Free Zone” gym near the Traffic Circle on Wednesday.

The ribbon cutting will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the gym, 1890 Ximeno Ave., and includes food, music and giveaways. The gym is also donating $2,500 to the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach during the grand opening.

The new facility will offer cardio machines, strength equipment, locker rooms, flat screen televisions, HydroMassage loungers, massage chairs, tanning beds and more, according to a news release.

The company refers to its gyms as a “Judgement Free Zone,” where members experience a non-intimidating environment, the release said.

Basic memberships start at $10 per month, with memberships including all amenities starting at $21.99 per month.
