Construction and improvements to the Walmart Supercenter at Long Beach Towne Center are completed, the retail giant announced last week The public is invited to its grand re-opening celebration on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00AM for giveaways, food and activities for kids.

“We’re always looking for ways to make our customers’ lives easier,” store manager Alexis Martinez said in a statement. “For 15 years, we have been serving the Long Beach community and we are excited for everyone to come see how we are helping give time back to our customers with a new and improved shopping experience.”

The much-anticipated project includes a state-of-the-art electronics department, an expanded craft area, an updated cosmetics department and a renovated pharmacy department with a consultation room.

Walmart is located at 7250 Carson Boulevard.
