A car wash fundraiser to help the family of 15-year-old Keyshawn Brooks, who was fatally stabbed last week, will be held this weekend, according to his church’s Facebook page. 

The youth group at New City Church North Long Beach, where Keyshawn was a member, will host the car wash on Saturday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM at the church, located at 1228 East South Street.

All donations from the event will go directly to Keyshawn’s family.

Those who wish to donate but cannot make it out to the event can also donate through this PayPal link provided by the church.

“We would like to send out our Love and prayers to the Family of Keshawn,” the church said in an additional Facebook post. “Please pray for the family as they mourn over the loss of there [sic] child. Lord we thank you for the time you gave us with Keshawn. He is resting in the arms of Jesus Christ.”
