The Long Beach Arena will host Quidam, the newest show by famed performance troupe Cirque Du Soleil, during eight shows in April. The 52-person show has been seen by 10 million people worldwide since its debut in 1996. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, December 13.

“Long Beach is looking forward to hosting the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil,” said Dan Spellens, Director of Theaters & Entertainment for the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.  “We warmly welcome them to the Arena for the first time.”

World class acrobats, musicians, singers and other characters make up the show that swirls around the story of a young girl who leaves her boring existence through a wild and imaginary world, called Quidam.

The show premiers in Long Beach on Wednesday, April 20 at 7:30pm and the following night at 7:30pm as well. Over the next three days, there will be two shows per day until the finale at 5:00pm on Sunday, April 24.

Tickets for adults range from $40-$95, and $32-$77 for children. Premium tickets on Friday night and both Saturday shows jump up to $110-$115 for adults and $88-$93 for children. There are military, senior and student discounts available.

The ticket box opens at 10:00am on Monday, December 13 and can be purchased through TicketMaster at 800.745.3000 or the Long Beach Arena Box Office at 300 E. Ocean Boulevard.
