Long Beach will close southbound lanes and reduce northbound lanes on the 103 highway from Willow Street to Anaheim Street on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 6 a.m. to around 6 p.m.

During those hours, the city’s Public Works Department will have 50 workers tend to maintenance like repairing pavement, collecting dumped items, and pulling out weeds growing on the road.

This date was chosen to help minimize impact on trucks moving cargo in and out of the city’s port, according to a press release.
