Looks like it’s going to be a busy weekend for you, with University By The Sea right around the corner and today’s announcement that the City Manager’s Office will hold a public informational session about the Breakwater Study this Saturday at the Aquarium of the Pacific, from 9:00am-10:00am. The forum will provide updated information about the Long Beach Breakwater Reconnaissance Study and an introduction to Moffatt & Nichol—the engineering firm involved in the study.
That informational session is just the prelude, though, and three Breakwater Study Workshops will be held in the next few weeks to engage public discussion about the process of a reconfiguration of the breakwater. Meeting dates below:
