The City of Long Beach released its 2016 Easter Sunday Schedule on Friday to alert residents of changed operating hours, unavailable services and closed locations on Sunday, March 27. Long Beach City Hall is closed on Sundays, while most city operations will maintain normal operating hours on Easter Sunday.
The new smart parking meters, installed nearly one year ago, will display its days and hours of operation and also when paying is exempt. Parking meters and time zones will be enforced as usual, including meters adjacent to green and yellow curbs, while red, white and blue curbs are enforced daily. Green and yellow curbs without adjacent parking meters are not enforced on Sundays and holidays, according to the release. For more information, click here.
