A big-rig that rolled onto its side during a crash in Long Beach ended up snarling traffic on the northbound 710 Freeway Friday morning.

It wasn’t immediately clear how the crash happened, but the truck tipped over near Willow Street at about 5:44 a.m., according to the CHP.

Most of the northbound side of the freeway was shut down. Two lanes were expected to be closed until at least 9:30 a.m., according to the CHP.

Authorities couldn’t immediately provide details on what the truck was hauling or if anyone was hurt.
