A sewage spill caused by a 12-inch force water main break last week has resulted in road closures in the Naples neighborhood. Long Beach Water will be performing construction from Tuesday, December 23rd to Thursday, January 1st on a new force main that will close down Ravenna Bridge, Long Beach Water announced today.

Electronic message boards will be places on Ravenna Drive and Second Street, as well as Ravenna Drive and Corinthian Walk, to advise residents about the bridge closure. Detour signs will also be posted.

Long Beach Water said residents’ sewer and water services have not been impacted because of the spill, and will not be impacted during construction.
