Visitors to the Long Beach Convention Center hula’d the long weekend away at the 14th annual E Hula Mau celebration, celebration Hawaiian customs and traditions with a jam-packed weekend of events.
On Sunday, the band Oahu treated listeners to live music outside of the Westin Long Beach, while a hula contest was held inside. E Hula Mau is Southern California’s only hula and chant competition, awarding contestants for their performances in competition that is just as much about heritage and celebration as winning.
