Good news for residents and commuters on Pacific Avenue between 7th St. and Anaheim St. The Long Beach City Council Tuesday night approved a street infrastructure rehabilitation project aimed at replacing damaged curbs and gutters, driveways, alley entrances and sidewalks. Also included are repaving and installing of traffic markers as well as bike lanes.
This rehabilitation comes as the next part of improvements made to Pacific Avenue, with the repairs south of 7th Street completed last year. It will connect the street’s Downtown terminus with Wrigley Village and the heart of the Pacific Corrridor.
With the $835,401 contract approved, the project will begin soon.
