Two men were shot in North Long Beach but were able to take themselves to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds, authorities said today.
The men were believed to have been wounded in a shooting reported at 11:02 p.m.Thursday in the area of East 60th Street and Atlantic Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The victims were not at the scene, but officers spotted evidence that a shooting had occurred.
That shooting was soon followed by two more shootings. Nobody was wounded in either case.
Shots were reported fired at 11:35 p.m. in the 100 block of West 49th Street and at 11:42 p.m. in the 5200 block of Atlantic Avenue.
The LBPD did not say whether the shootings were related. Suspect information and motive were under investigation.
