Long Beach police say they’re investigating a shooting in the city’s Washington neighborhood that left two men wounded Saturday morning.
The shooting was reported just before 3 a.m. at Pacific Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Two men were in the area when they were shot by an unknown suspect, the LBPD said. The two men then transported themselves to a local hospital for treatment, according to authorities.
A motive for the shooting is not known at this time, police said. At the scene of the shooting, officers and gang detectives located evidence, including casings, police said.
