45-Year-Old Long Beach Man Convicted for Sexually Molesting Two Girls, Ages Four and Nine

A 45-year-old Long Beach man was convicted late yesterday afternoon after being accused of sexually molesting a four-year-old and nine-year-old girl, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

William Edward Burch was found guilty of oral copulation with a child 10 years old or younger, using a minor for sex acts, child molesting and lewd act upon a child.

Prosecutor and Deputy District Attorney Kelly Kelley said Burch sexually assaulted a four-year-old girl. Burch also molested a nine-year-old girl two years later.

Police were notified soon after the second incident, and Burch was arrested in connection with the crimes.

Burch is scheduled to be sentenced January 8, and faces a maximum sentence of life in state prison.
