A building and an uninhabited vehicle were the only things hit by gunfire, Saturday afternoon, after an argument erupted between two men in the Willmore neighborhood, police said.

Long Beach police were called to the 800 block of Daisy Avenue at 3:25 p.m. after getting reports of shots being fired, police spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.

“The preliminary investigation revealed that a verbal altercation between an adult male suspect and adult male victim led to the shooting,” she said.

No injuries were reported and both the suspect and victim were gone before police arrived, De Prez said, but the suspect was said to be driving a four-door sedan.
