warrant arrest suspect csulbThe Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office has filed a misdemeanor arrest warrant for a man charged by Cal State Long Beach (CSULB) police with identity theft and undisclosed health and safety code violations, according to a bulletin posted on CSULB’s website last Saturday.

The $26,000 warrant was filed on March 15 and came as a response to CSULB police report 16-0039, the bulletin stated. The charges against Rion Thomas Derry include identity theft and health and safety code violations.

Derry is known to frequent the Atherton Street and Ximeno Avenue vicinity in the city’s Traffic Circle area, the bulletin stated.

University officials could not be reached for comment and the Long Beach City Prosecutor’s Office could not provide additional information.
