Authorities on Monday identified a homeless woman who was found dead along the San Gabriel River bike path last week.

Authorities say the body of 44-year-old Priscilla Ann Portella was found just before noon on March 1 in the area of Willow Street and the San Gabriel River, which is just east of El Dorado Park.

It’s not yet clear what caused her death. Police declined to disclose whether she had any obvious injuries but said evidence at the scene suggested she may have been killed.
