Police are investigating after the body of a man was pulled out of the water near Shoreline Park in Long Beach Friday morning.
Officers were notified of the body just after 7:30 a.m. and responded to the 200 block of Aquarium Way, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

There, authorities pulled the man from the water and he was pronounced dead, police said. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office identified him as 32-year-old Dylan Joseph McIntyre Briseno. No city of residence was immediately available.
Homicide detectives are currently investigating the death, which has been classified as “undetermined” for the time being due to the nature of the incident, police said.
The Medical Examiner’s office is examining the body and will make an official determination about the cause of death.
