Cal State Long Beach police arrested a 28-year-old man suspected of burglarizing a residence on campus property late last month, authorities said.
Eric Hauczinger allegedly entered a CSULB-controlled property at about 3:30AM on Monday, January 25 and took several items without the owner’s permission, according to university police.
The crime was captured on video and Hauczinger was subsequently arrested on Thursday, January 28.
Officials said the suspect is on formal probation through November 2016 and has prior arrests for theft, trespassing, possession of controlled substances, possession of burglary tools and possession of knives.
