A 32-year-old Compton man was sentenced to 42 years and eight months to life in prison today for trafficking teenage girls for prostitution purposes in the Compton and Long Beach areas between 2006 and 2013, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced.
According to a release issued today by the District Attorney’s office, Robert Jerome Walker, who went by the moniker “Bash Millions,” was a member of a group of pimps who referred to themselves as the “Compton Division” and forced trafficked teenage girls to prostitute themselves in Compton and Long Beach.
In November, a jury found Walker guilty of six felony counts, including four counts of human trafficking of a minor for a sex act and one count each of dissuading a witness from prosecuting a crime and lewd act upon a child.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge James D. Otto also mandated that Walker register as a sex offender for life.
Deputy District Attorney Rachel Hardiman said Walker used force and threats of violence to prostitute the four victims. Hardiman said the youngest victim was 11-years-old.
Walker threatened one of the victims after she testified against one of his partners, Rulie Sprewell, according to the release. The case was investigated by the LBPD.
