Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who ditched his car after crashing into a house near St. Mary Medical Center early Monday morning.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of 11th Street and Atlantic Avenue, police said.

The driver ran into a parked car and then hit the living-room wall of a home, Long Beach Police Department spokesman Carlos Sandoval said.

“The suspect fled prior to officer’s arrival, leaving the vehicle behind,” Sandoval said.

Nobody was hurt in the crash, he said.

Police are still investigating. A detailed description of the driver wasn’t available.
