A residence and two unoccupied vehicles were struck by gunfire in North Long Beach late Friday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at about 11:35 p.m. in the 300 block of E. Scott Street in the Coolidge Triangle neighborhood, police spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said. The neighborhood borders the 91 Freeway, Los Angeles River and Long Beach Boulevard.

De Prez said officers found “evidence consistent with bullet impact on the vehicles and residence” when they canvassed the area.

Officials said the home was occupied, however, no injuries were reported.

There is no suspect description at this time but anyone with information is urged to contact LBPD dispatch at 562-435-6711.
