A home-invasion robbery in Downey today left a resident injured, police said.
The robbery was reported about 2 a.m. in the 9600 block of Clancey Avenue, according to the Downey Police Department.
“The victims were at home when an unknown number of suspects forced entry through a rear door” a police statement said. “Once inside, the suspects tied up the victims and proceeded to ransack various rooms in the residence.”
It was not immediately known what items the robbers took. One of the victims suffered minor injuries, police said.
