Police say a man who was reportedly stabbed by two women at a Long Beach hotel hasn’t been cooperating with investigators.

Officers learned of the attack around 6:25 a.m. today when they were called to the hotel on Anaheim Street near Cherry Avenue, Long Beach Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.

“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male victim inside his hotel room with multiple stab wounds to his upper torso,” De Prez said.

De Prez said the two women believed to be responsible for the attack were gone before officers arrived.

Medics took the man to the hospital where he’s expected to survive his wounds, police said.

“What led to the stabbing is currently unknown as the victim has been uncooperative during the preliminary investigation,” De Prez said.
