Two consecutive burglaries hit Los Coyotes Diagonal and Anaheim street early Friday morning, Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officials confirmed.

According to police, a jewelry store and game store both experienced losses after it was reported that a red pick-up truck had been at both locations.

Police said officers were dispatched to the jewelry store on the 4600 block of Los Coyotes Diagonal at 2:20AM Friday morning, and officers were dispatched to the game store on the 400 block of West Anaheim Street at 3:27AM.

A stolen pick-up truck matching the description of the red pick-up truck was discovered on the 1400 block of Chestnut Avenue after the incidents, according to officials.

A similar crime also occurred in Westminster, and police believe all three burglaries are related.

The LBPD said they are working with the Westminster Police Department in an ongoing investigation.
