The Liquor Mill in the 8th District was cited Monday for selling alcohol to a minor and for being in possession of slot machines during an undercover vice operation by the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) and Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).

Screen Shot 2014-10-16 at 3.08.55 PMA common tactic employed during such operations, a minor under the supervision of the LBPD attempted to purchase alcohol from store employees.

Ten alcohol-selling establishments were visited, but the Liquor Mill, located at 5440 Long Beach Blvd., was the only one cited, the LBPD said.

Investigators also discovered four slot machines hidden at the Liquor Mill and cited the owner for possession of gaming machines.
