A Long Beach man was booked for attempted murder Saturday after stabbing another man that afternoon, police said.
Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Eighth Street regarding an assault with a deadly weapon call, said LBPD spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.
Arriving officers located a man who had sustained a stab wound. Long Beach Fire Department (LBFD) personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Police arrested and booked Robert Lee Valle, 30, of Long Beach for attempted murder. He is being held on $500K bail in Los Angeles County Jail.
