Police are investigating a non-injury shooting that happened in Long Beach early Wednesday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Stanton Place at 3:33AM on Wednesday, August 19, regarding a shots heard call, said Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Claudia Lopez.

Police made contact with a male adult victim and determined no one was hit.

The investigation is ongoing, officials said.
