A man was transported to a local hospital Tuesday after he was a victim of a possible shooting in the area of the area of Seventh Street and Alamitos Avenue, police said.
Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) officers dispatched to scene regarding a possible shooting at about 1:06PM, said LBPD spokesperson Marlene Arrona.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim, who was transported to a local hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
She said no suspect description was available, and the investigation is ongoing.
As a result of the incident, southbound Alamitos is closed to through traffic in the area while police investigate.
