A man and woman were sitting in a parked vehicle Thursday evening when four men approached and shot them, police said.

Officers headed to the 300 block of Coolidge Street, near Artesia Boulevard, at about 8:50 p.m. for a call about shots fired, spokeswoman Allison Gallagher said.

The man suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his upper and lower body and the woman suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her upper body, Gallagher said. Paramedics transported both to a local hospital in stable condition.

Investigators do not yet know the motive for the shooting or have suspect information available, but are still investigating, police said.
