Police say they have arrested a 34-year-old man for breaking into five restaurants and a car spread throughout Long Beach over the past two weeks.
Dating back to Oct. 26, Long Beach resident Raymond Edward Billingsley allegedly shattered a glass window and stole miscellaneous items from inside a business or vehicle at six different locations, according to Long Beach police.
- Oct. 26: NYC Chop Cheese, 420 Cherry Ave.
- Oct. 26: Circle Donuts, 2201 Lakewood Blvd.
- Oct. 28: CoffeeDrunk, 913 E Wardlow Road
- Nov. 1: Pizza X Two, 2211 E 7th St.
- Nov. 2: Famous Burgers, 2841 E Anaheim St.
- Nov. 2: vehicle parked in the 2700 block of Spaulding Street
On Monday morning, officers recognized Billingsley from security camera footage and arrested him near the intersection of Anaheim Street and Dawson Avenue, police said.
Billingsley was booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of burglary tools and a probation violation.
He was being held without bail for the probation violation. Jail records show that Billingsley lives in an apartment in downtown Long Beach.
