A male teen was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man in the South Wrigley neighborhood of Long Beach Saturday night, authorities said.

Officers were flagged down at Pacific Avenue and Hill Street at 7:15PM on Saturday, December 10 regarding the stabbing and subsequently located a man with a stab wound to his torso, according to Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) spokeswoman Marlene Arrona.

“A possible weapon used in the stabbing was located at the scene of the incident,” said Arrona.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, she said.

The 17-year-old male was taken into custody without incident. The stabbing is not believed to be gang-related, Arrona said.
