Long Beach police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting overnight, officials said.
Police said they learned of the shooting around 10:55 p.m. Thursday when a local hospital called about a man who was shot in his upper body. He was in stable but critical condition, Gallagher said.
Few details were immediately available, but police believe he may have been shot in the area of Artesia Boulevard and Long Beach Boulevard, but officers couldn’t find the crime scene, Gallagher said.
Police do not know the motive for the shooting or have any suspect information, she said.
