Federal and local law enforcement swept through an upscale neighborhood on Naples Island in Long Beach earlier this week.

Agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration and Seal Beach police raided a home on Cordova Walk around 7 p.m. Monday. They carried  evidence out of the home and kept people handcuffed in the yard, according to a neighbor.

DEA spokesman Kyle Mori confirmed agents were at the location but declined to provide any more details because the operation is related to an ongoing federal investigation.

The warrant authorizing the search is sealed, said Thom Mrozek, a spokesman for the local U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Nobody was arrested at the home, Mrozek said.

Long Beach police said they were not involved in the operation, and Seal Beach police did not respond to inquiries about it.
