No one injured after reports of shots fired in Lincoln neighborhood

Police are investigating after receiving reports of shots fired and finding bullet casings in the Lincoln neighborhood near Cherry Avenue and Anaheim Street on Friday night.

Officers found the casings on the 1000 block of Minerva Park shortly after 11 p.m., police spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.

No one reported injuries, but witnesses told police the suspect was a man who left the scene in a sedan, she said.

Police also do not know the motive for the shooting.
