Someone fired off a gun along a sidewalk on the edge of Cambodia Town early this morning, but it doesn’t appear anyone was wounded, according to Long Beach police.
Police said someone reported the gunfire around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found bullet casings on the sidewalk near Gaviota Avenue and 14th Street, LBPD spokeswoman Jennifer De Prez said.
It doesn’t appear the gunfire hit anything, De Prez said.
Police are still investigating. They did not have any information on a suspect or why he or she fired.
