Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of robbing two fast food restaurants in Long Beach within eight months of each other, according to authorities.

The first incident happened November 1, 2016 at about 9:40AM in the 2100 block of South Street. The second incident occurred June 15, 2017 at about 7:15AM in the 4300 block of East Anaheim Street.

“In both incidents, the suspect entered the fast food restaurants and ordered a meal,” according to a release sent out today from the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD). “During the transactions, the suspect pointed a handgun at the cashier, and demanded money before fleeing the area on foot with undisclosed amounts of currency.”

Authorities said the man took the food along with the money in the second incident.

The cashiers were not injured during the robberies, officials stated.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 25 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build and a goatee, according to a release sent out today from the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD).
