The Long Beach Police Department (LBPD) released two photos and one video of a man they believe to be a sexual assault suspect.
In the early morning hours of January 14, an unidentified, mentally impaired 53-year-old female was kidnapped from a parking lot by a male described by the LBPD as Black or Hispanic and around 30 years of age.
Following the kidnapping—which occurred near 15th and Long Beach Boulevard in Central Long Beach and was caught on surveillance—he sexually assaulted her before leaving the victim near 16th and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The suspect is described as being between 5’9” and 5’11” with a weight of 180 to 200lbs, short black hair, a medium complexion, and was seen wearing a light-colored hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes.
The vehicle that the suspect used to kidnap the victim is a dark, 4-door sedan that LBPD believe could be a late-90s Nissan Maxima.
