Police say they’re investigating a pair of overnight shootings — one in West Long Beach and one on Second Street in Belmont Shore — that left two men wounded.

The first shooting took place just before 9:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Seabright Avenue, authorities said.

There, two men that didn’t know each other had been arguing, according to the Long Beach Police Department. At some point, the argument turned into a physical fight, with one of the men pulling out a gun and shooting the other in the upper body, police said.
